Meg Rosoff grew up in a suburb of Boston and moved to London in 1989. She spent fifteen years in advertising and publishing before writing her first novel, How I Live Now, which has sold 1.5 million copies in thirty-six territories. Her subsequent nine novels have been awarded or shortlisted for 25 international writing prizes, including the Carnegie Medal and the National Book Award. Meg is a laureate of the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA) and a fellow of Homerton College, Cambridge. She lives in London and Suffolk with her husband.
